It's true, It is very important to know your family history because it can affect your own health in many ways. Which was the very reason why Stan started working out. With a family history of high cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure that started to catch up to him at a young age he had to make a lifestyle change. What better way to do so then to start working out? oh and lets not leave out that he also needed a "Hobby" one that he now to loves and enjoys. Not only did he make this change for himself but he also did it for his wife and children. Stan and his family have a drastically changed their eating habits by cutting out fast food and incorporating more home cooked meals and also by making sure everyone eats a well balanced breakfast every morning.
Mr. Dooley, here actually eats breakfast twice because he has to be up at 5am. So he eats before he leaves his house in the morning and than again when he gets to work. Like all of us he has guilty pleasure when it comes to his diet, those things that we just can't resist, the butter pecan ice cream and anything that has the word "Cookie in it. You name it he likes it, but he doesn't let his guilty pleasures keep his eye off the prize. He works out up to 4-6 days per week and plays basketball 2 days out of the week with 1 day off. Stan has made his fitness journey one that he enjoys. He is lucky to have a great group of guys that work out with him that enjoy it as much as he does.
His personal motto is " Get Money" if you are thinking what I was thinking. What does "Get Money" have to do with working out? Well, his health is his money maker. If he is not in good health, then he is not capable of providing for his family. His health, and family are very valuable to him. His advice to those who want to start working out and don't know wher to start? Is to sit down and think about your future working out and having a healthy diet helps you prevent health complications in the future. Mr. Dooley's ultimate fitness goal is to have a body mass index (BMI) under 10 percent. Stan makes working out a priority now in his life on top of his career, and being an amazing husband and father to his wife and kids. Stan has 101 reason plus life it self for his life style change.
